Operations Accomplishments

 In addition to successfully running projects, I have helped with key operational improvements and internal leadership items at each company. For several of the initiatives I’ve helped things run more efficiently and with increased quality, by implementing smart systems that save time, better track key items, and provide stronger organization. I’m known for not accepting the status quo and working to make things better. My desire is to continue getting involved in internal business and operations roles, ultimately progressing to executive management. Here are samplings of my operational accomplishments:

 

ITAC

·   Revamped procurement processes and tracking for engineered items on $50million EPC project. Transformed program from several lost and forgotten items, to a smooth process where everything was ordered, tracked, and reported to the project.

·   Improved office operations and/or spreadsheets for numerous areas including document control, project procedures, estimating and forecasting.

·   Led the implementation planning, SOP development, and rollout of a Project Management software, Procore, in the Raleigh office.

·   Developed in depth spreadsheet for full financial tracking and forecasting of projects.

 

CB&I

·   Identified key performance indicators/metrics and developed a system for production tracking and management.

·   Orchestrated and ran the soil stockpiling, testing, and backfill program for a 90ft deep pit for two Nuclear plants.

·   Developed and led program for concrete constituent management and concrete production sufficient to meet the NRC's strict requirements.

·   Improved document control processes and organization of test results, saving thousands of hours and improving accuracy of data.

 

PSI

·   Created and implemented standardized report forms for technicians that allowed for clear, complete, accurate, and timely reports to be generated. Reduced total time involved in producing reports for clients by over half, while also improving quality.

·   Established system for tracking technician allocation and monitoring OT, to better utilize resources.

·   Developed spreadsheets for tracking financials and other key KPI.

·   Successfully led Boone P&L responsibilities with 20% profit margins

 

Hops Restaurant

·   Developed ordering system and spreadsheet to level out the ordering of supplies to a consistent amount every week. Local manager shared system with company VP and Regional Manager.

 

President of Campus Organization

·   Led operations team and orchestrated frequent events for group of 100+.

·   Coordinated setup/takedown for full meeting, including band, for a weekly offsite meeting

 

Other

·   Ran administration for several conferences (150-1000 individuals)

·   Planned and coordinated music and creative items for conferences, including associated schedules.

 

Board of Directors/Music & Creative Director

·   Developed operational plans for setup and takedown of entire church, which was meeting at a school so everything had to be broken down each week, and oversaw scheduling and coordination to allow for successful meetings every week.

·   Performed all planning, scheduling, and coordinating for the worship/creative and sound team.
